For more than 70 years, thousands of brides have traveled to Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City to find their wedding day looks. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll feel the magic of Kleinfeld. Not only does Kleinfeld have 30,000 square feet filled with the largest selection of wedding dresses in the world, it also has the greatest professional staff of over 200 employees who are dedicated to finding and perfecting your bridal look.
ICYMI, Kleinfeld and the Women’s Council of the New York Metro Make-a-Wish Foundation did something BIG last week. Working together with a team of over 60 volunteers, we hosted an extra special event to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation—a huge benefit fashion show! Read on to see how the magical evening came together, complete with a 37-model fashion show, silent auctions and raffles, and over $100,000 raised for charity!
Before the night began, Kleinfeld was completely overhauled by our Visual & Creative Team into a starry-night themed space. Guests arrived at Kleinfeld for cocktails and light bites providing by Certé Catering as well as a chance to get their photo taken, sign up for raffles and a silent auction.
Meanwhile, things were already heating up backstage! Little did guests know, but our Make-a-Wish Fashion show not only included over 30 volunteer models, but 6 Wish Kids headlining the show—all outfitted in Kleinfeld bridal gowns and Kleinfeld Bridal Party dresses!

Models and Wish Kids got their hair and makeup done, got dressed in their look of the night, and chatted with our special host, photographer and star of America’s Next Top Model, Nigel Barker.

After the raffles and auctions closed, guests made their way to our main salon and found their seats as the show was about to begin. Kleinfeld Director of PR & Marketing, Jennette Kruszka, welcomed guests. Finally, Nigel took the stage just in time for the show to start.
Our models included 30 volunteers as well as 6 Wish Kids and Nigel Barker’s wife and daughter! Broken up into 6 Make-a-Wish themes including “Dream Destination”, Dreams Come True” and “Holiday Wishes”, models strutted the runway in Kleinfeld’s newest bridal and bridal party looks.

Nigel closed out our Fashion Show with a chance for guests to donate even more money and time towards granting wishes for special children around the company, and just like that, another $20,000 was raised!
