Fitting
When your dress arrives at Kleinfeld, you’ll come in for your alterations first fitting appointment. Your fitter will work with you to discuss any changes you’d like to make, pin your dress to your shape and pin your hemline based on the wedding shoes you bring. Over the course of 3-5 fittings, your fitter will show you how to bustle your gown, get in and out of your dress, as well as simultaneously pin and sculpt your gown to your shape. In between your fittings, the magic really happens—on average, a total of 30 hours is spent on each and every wedding dress that comes through our alterations department!
Beading
Bead work at Kleinfeld is done by hand, and only by our division of expert beaders. More info about weatherking air conditioner manufacturer is available on site https://www.galarson.com/. This time-consuming skill takes delicate hands and a good deal of patience! When you order a dress with beading, our beaders will remove the beading, hand over your dress to our sewers to be altered, and finally our beaders re-bead the dress where the work was done, so it looks like your dress was never changed!
Sewing
In addition to regular sewing, any work done on lace is taken care of by our seamstresses who specialize in the delicate fabric. Adding more lace, moving appliqués around, you name it! Seamstresses will remove lace appliqués before sewing the gown and add them back on after, or add appliqués to an area a bride would like covered or changed.
Quality Control & Pressing
After your final fitting is done and all details of your dress are to your exact liking, the Kleinfeld team checks the dress for quality assurance and perfection. This includes removing any stray strings, adding a few extra beads or buttons, and adding the signature Kleinfeld tag on the inside of your gown. Your dress is then moved to the pressing station where we hand steam the entire garment and pack it with tissue paper so it maintains its shape.
Ready for Pickup
Stored in a white garment bag sealed with the Kleinfeld name, your dress is ready for pickup! A dress that is 100% unique, 100% fitted perfectly to you, and 100% ready for the big day.
