Jaclyn Whyte

Jaclyn Whyte is an esteemed bridal designer for the next generation of brides.

Jaclyn developed a passion for fashion at a young age, raised in the process for creating beautiful gowns. Her mother, a renowned name in the bridal space, Francesca Guzzo-Whyte, has been dressing brides for more than 40 years. As a child Jaclyn recalls her mother’s endless sketches realizing the dreams of many brides and being in the studio hearing the sounds of scissors and sewing machines, seeing the dress forms draped in fabrics, modelling the many evolving creations. It was always her dream to follow her mother’s footsteps and become a bridal designer. It’s no surprise that dream became a reality, she was raised into it.

The duo opened their first atelier together in 2011 in Toronto, Ontario. Jaclyn’s contemporary perspective married with Francesca’s timeless designs has propelled the Whyte Couture name, cementing the duo’s authority within the bridal category. Known for their superior fit, meticulous craftsmanship and their figure flattering silhouettes, they provide a bespoke bridal experience.

Now, under Jaclyn’s helm, Whyte Couture introduced their first prêt-à-porter collection Fall 2024 that will be sold exclusively at premier retailers with Kleinfeld being the first to carry the line. This collection is a breath of fresh air, expect to see intricate lacework, luxurious silks, and timeless silhouettes designed for today’s modern romantic bride.
