On Saturday, June 17, 2017 both families joined for lunch at Izumi Hibachi restaurant in Wayne, NJ. Everyone joined for a nice afternoon filled with laughter and great conversation. As the chef started his preparation, he created a heart out of rice and the words “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” on a zucchini. After taking a moment for me to realize that our lives would now change forever, cameras flashing and family cheering, Babajide got on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I was in shock, disbelief, and happy about the moment! I said yes, and that’s what brought us to this special day of our lives—July, 7th, 2018.

My gown was designed by Sottero and Midgely a classic sweetheart romantic fit and flare dress features a bodice of beaded lace appliqués accented in Swarovski crystals atop a tulle skirt. Embellished spaghetti straps glide from the sweetheart neckline to illusion v-back accented in beaded lace appliqués. Finished with covered buttons over zipper closure.

The TerraceBabajide and I got married on July 7, 2018. A traditional faith based ceremony at my church followed by the reception at the Terrace in Paramus, New Jersey. It was a beautiful summer day, as we celebrated with 200 of our family and friends. Our wedding was all that we dreamed of and more. The Terrace was our absolute dream wedding venue. Pure Elegance, Unique Rooftop, Stunning Grand ballroom, Outstanding cuisine. An absolute dream come true, simply amazing.
On this 7th day of the 7th month it was complete. We become one under God. This day was perfect, a day that will be cherished for the rest of our lives.
