Jerome and I met in Baltimore, Maryland at a concert. After long conversations on the phone we became very good friends. Shortly after going out on several dates, traveling and enjoying each other’s company we decided to date, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Jerome proposed April 7th, 2017 at my mother’s house and I said YES!!! On June 23rd, 2018 we became Mr. and Mrs. Brown.
About the Dress
Kleinfeld Consultant:
Joel
I started dress shopping in August of 2017 and I visited between 5-10 bridal stores in the Washington Metropolitan area. I tried on about 50-60 dresses and did not find ‘THE” dress. I started to get stressed out because I didn’t think it would be that hard to find “THE” dress for my big day. So I decided to get advice from my wedding planner Jocelyn Avery as I explained to her that I visited all of the popular wedding stores in our area and could not find a dress that I’m in love with. I showed her pictures of a few dresses that I tried on and her reply was “No that’s not “THE” dress. Jocelyn advised me to book an appointment at Kleinfeld Bridal because she was sure that I would find the right dress. My appointment was on a Saturday in October of 2017 and I was accompanied by my wedding planner, matron of honor and maid of honor. We we arrived at Kleinfeld I was assigned to Joel for my appointment and he informed me that it was a Pnina Tornai trunk show. Joel and my entourage picked out several dresses for me to try on and I did like one of the dresses however I still wasn’t for sure if it was “THE” dress. The last dress I tried on was a Pnina Tornai dress and when I walked out everyone shouted “That’s the dress!” I have to admit I fell in love with the dress but what sealed the deal was when I tried it on with the veil—and that’s when I said “yes!” to the dress! Oh and not to mention I had the chance to meet the beautiful Pnina Tornai and I have a video that I will cherish for a life time of her asking me if I’m saying “yes!” to her dress.
About the Wedding
Married:
June 23, 2018 //
Location:
Baltimore Maryland //
Venue:
Baltimore Museum of Arts
Our wedding took place on June 23, 2018 and although we planned to get married outside on the west lawn we had a change in plans because we didn’t want to chance mother nature and the evening thunder storm prediction. The wedding was so elegant and beautiful it was everything that imagined it to be and I wouldn’t change one thing about it. To sum it up in one word it was AMAZING. The thunderstorms held off and I was able to get some beautiful pictures outside.
