Engaged:

Alex and  I got engaged on June 17, 2017 in our apartment.   Alex purchased a customized dog tag for our dog Lucy‘s collar. He secretly placed the tag on her collar in the morning and we went about our normal Saturday routine…a dog walk and coffee. He had the ring in his pocket waiting for me to notice Lucy‘s new dog tag.  Poor Alex…it took me almost 4 hours to notice the tag!  I finally realized back in our apartment.  Alex got down on one knee and I said Yes!  We then celebrated with both of our families that evening in Long Island.  It was perfect!

Kleinfeld Consultant:

I fell in love with my Michelle Roth Tara dress as soon as I put it on. It was my first day wedding dress shopping, and I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted. My consultant, Paula was amazing and made the entire experience so comfortable and fun!  As soon as I put my dress on, I got that feeling…this was the one!  My mom and maid of honor agreed. I knew I was ready to say “yes!” when I didn’t want to take my dress off. I couldn’t stop looking at myself in the mirror.  It was a full year before I saw my dress again for my first fitting.  I put it on and the butterflies came right back. On my wedding day, I couldn’t wait to put my dress on, and I didn’t want to take it off at the end of the night. It was my perfect dress!

Alex and I got married on November 18, 2018 at Bourne Mansion on Long Island, NY.  It was a beautiful fall November day and we celebrated our ceremony and reception at the mansion with 200 of our family and friends. We had an intimate interfaith ceremony followed by an incredible party of a reception.  We personalized the Mansion by decorating with pictures of us and our family and friends.  The day was perfect from start to finish!
