I had just gotten my nails painted red (red nail theory is real!). Jordan and I were in Florida visiting our families.

Sushi is my absolute favorite food and Jordan had told me he booked us a reservation for some that night. As I was getting ready, my best friend in the world FaceTimed me with a new piece of jewelry on her ring finger. I was overjoyed (and maybe a little jealous)!

Jordan was running late, which of course gives me anxiety, but he picked me up and put me at ease. As we pulled away, he immediately pulled over and asked if I could open the glove compartment because he needed his charger. As I did, much to my surprise, there was my ring! I panicked and thought I found it my mistake until I realized what was happening. He was recording the entire thing! It was so special, intimate, and a complete surprise.

We got to enjoy rooftop drinks and sushi that night. Then, the next night we had a big dinner with our whole family!

I have never been super interested in wedding dresses. While I think they are all stunning, I had never been the type to have a Pinterest board devoted to them. Both my mom and mother-in-law got their wedding dresses from Kleinfeld, so we knew we have to go. It was our first stop! My consultant, Brandi, was incredible. My mother-in-law actually saw the dress on another bride and we all knew I had to try it on! It was the perfect mix of everything I was looking for. Plus, it couldn’t have been more comfortable.

What a whirlwind it has been! We got married in sunny Palm Beach.

Two days before the wedding, my wedding planner got a call that there had been a glitch in the Marriott booking system. As a result, they were oversold and our group was the chosen one to be eliminated. From there, mass hysteria broke out! We had almost 300 guests arriving in less than 48 hours, with most of which, this was a destination wedding for.

My dad has stayed thousands of nights in Marriotts, granting him a lifetime Titanium Platinum Elite status, so he wasted no time trying to get the right people on the phone. I took to what I know best: TikTok. As for what followed, I don’t think anyone was expecting. The TikTok video of my dad got over 32 million views and people all over the world began rallying to support our guests!

In the end, they were able to create an amazing solution and the wedding was perfect. We had our welcome party at the Colony Hotel, our wedding at the Flagler Museum, and then a beach-front brunch at ER Bradley’s!
