Connor proposed during our annual Labor Day family trip to Shenandoah Valley with my mom, dad, sister, brother, his girlfriend, and my grandmother. Earlier in the year, Connor and I went to Yosemite on our own and I thought this would be the time & place he’d propose, but he totally surprised me by bending his knee on one of the beautiful outlooks on a Shenandoah trail-I did not think he’d be able to shock me, but it took a “last minute” hike with my brother and his girlfriend after our horseback riding adventure to do it. My family had our cabin decorated and champagne ready for when we returned. At the end of the day, he knew me more than I knew myself because I was so happy to share our joy with our family afterwards!
About the Dress
Kleinfeld Consultant:
Mindy Freedman
Kleinfeld was the first and only dress shop I went to. My dad rented an extra large Cadillac Escalade to bring my mom, sister, grandmother, aunt, best friend, and myself to Kleinfeld the morning of 12/28/2018. I had no clue what I wanted, but luckily my consultant, Mindy Freedman, did an AMAZING job and had me in and out of 15 dresses during the appointment- Ultimately, I chose the only one that made me cry (and everyone else)—Pronovias style Princia paired with a two tier chapel length veil with lace edgeand a Thomas Knoell couture pearl and crystal headpiece.
