Engaged:

Stewart seriously surprised me with our proposal!  One of my best friends was in town, and Stewart told me that he had to work that morning.  She made up an excuse for us to go to the Met rooftop for a drink, and he surprised me at the top with the proposal!  Even better, he had my entire family fly up and they also surprised me on the Met rooftop as well after the proposal!  It was the perfect proposal and the perfect day.

Kleinfeld Consultant:

Shay was my bridal consultant, and I could not have been happier with my experience at Kleinfeld. I had been shopping around NYC with my mom, sister, and mother-in-law.  We thought we had found “the dress” at another bridal salon, however Shay found the perfect dress, veil, and headpiece for me.

The wedding itself was in an Episcopal church, so I wanted to make sure that the dress was appropriate for this.  It is beautiful church, and very elegant and formal.   The reception was outside and was in a gorgeous space with lots of lights, candles, and romance.  I needed a dress that was appropriate for the church, but also went with my garden party theme. The Alyne dress that Shay picked out was perfect for this. I opted for a cathedral length veil with a fun twist – hand painted flowers.  I had also wanted a flower crown since my reception was outside in a garden, however I was worried it would look outdated too quickly for pictures, so the accessories consultant/Shay also found the perfect floral headpiece that went perfectly with my dress and veil, and gave me a perfect look for the night.

Location:

The wedding itself took place in Tyler, Texas (a town outside of Dallas).  The wedding ceremony was in a gorgeous Episcopal church, and was very formal and beautiful.  Then the guest headed over to our outdoor reception in a gorgeous garden venue.  It was November, but in Texas that means a perfect 75 degrees!  The venue was absolutely beautiful, with Christmas lights everywhere, lots of candles, and soft lighting.  We had the best band, and people danced the night away until the very end of the night!  We could not have asked for a better wedding or family and friends to celebrate with us.  My dress, veil, and headpiece from Kleinfeld were absolutely perfect for the wedding in every way, and  I was so happy with how everything turned out!
