Kleinfeld Love Stories

Engaged:

Luke and I met during a huge snowstorm in February the day after Valentines Day in 2015.  We got pregnant with our daughter in 2017 and she was born durinh a huge snow storm in December of 2017 so he decided it was only right that we got engaged during some warm weather.  We were on vacation at Siesta Key Beach with our family and friends on my 24th birthday.

I tried on several dresses all around my hometown and as far as two hours away.  I just could not find a dress that was as over the top as I wanted it to be.  My mother, aunt, and I have always watched the show together so my mother said one day, “let’s just go to Kleinfeld” you’ll definitely find an over the top dress there.  We of course love New York City so it was just fun to go regardless.  I went in with a budget of around 3,000 and was not having any luck.  My mother spotted this Pnina Tornai dress that was so sparkly hanging across the room.  It  was over my budget but my mother and aunt insisted I tried it on.  I of course loved it and they pitched in the money so that I could get the most amazing dress ever made.  Worth every penny.

The wedding was on a beautiful sunny day in October.  It rained the day before and after, but Saturday was gorgeous.  I did all my own flowers with the help of my family.  We had about 200 guests, including all of our favorite people.  We got married in a beautiful Catholic Basilica.  Not one thing went wrong that day, the food was good, the weather was nice, the cake was amazing, and the decorations turned out amazing.  The day was just amazing, and I got to marry my best friend too.                Photos: Hannah Lampman Photography
