Nick proposed in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, the day after our second anniversary. Since we met as interns at Disney World in Florida, Disney always had a special place in our hearts. After a magical day at the parks with friends, we arrived in front of the icicle-lit castle, ready for the holidays, and a friend offered to take our picture. After a moment of resistance, I reluctantly agreed, put my bags down, and turned to the camera. Nick looked at me, kissed me and said, “But first, there’s something I want to ask you.” He got down on one knee, asked me to marry him, and I said yes! It was a fairy tale dream come true.
About the Dress
Designer:
Michelle Roth //
Kleinfeld Consultant:
Dianne
I had always wanted to come to Kleinfeld for my dress shopping experience after many years of watching the show with my mom and sisters. I knew that I wanted an A-line or ball gown of sorts in a classic style. My consultant Dianne found just that. My Michelle Roth dress was classic, elegant, and timeless. The light ivory color, the luxurious material, and the flow were very princess-like. The sweetheart neckline, low back, and buttons the entire length of the train made for a very flattering shape. To top it off, Dianne helped me find the perfect hand-made Swarovski crystal belt, which completed the look and added some sparkle. I got so many compliments and felt so comfortable and beautiful.
