Kleinfeld Love Stories

Engaged:

My husband proposed to me on October 26, 2019. We are from Raleigh, NC and drove up to Norfolk, VA that Saturday. He booked us a dinner cruise on the Spirit of Norfolk and proposed on the front of the ship right after dinner. He proposed in Norfolk, VA because that is where my late grandparents got married when he was in the Navy. It was a wonderful tribute to my grandparents.

I said “yes!” to the dress back in January 2020 at Kleinfeld. My mom and I booked my appointment because I have always dreamed of getting my dream dress from Kleinfeld. My mind and I watched Say Yes to the Dress ever since I was little. I looked at multiple stores beforehand and nothing caught my eye until I was at Kleinfeld. I fell in love with a Martina Liana dress and knew it would be perfect for my beach wedding. Dianne was my consultant and I absolutely loved her. She made me feel like an absolute princess that day.

My husband and I got married at Neuse Breeze Wedding Venue in Havelock, North Carolina on April 17, 2021. We found this private venue through the Knot and absolutely fell in love with the place. It felt so homey and we knew that was the right place for us. Our colors were white, gold and forest green. We had a lot of greenery everywhere because of our love of traveling the world. I am Sicilian so our greenery was eucalyptus leaves. It was absolutely perfect.
