Conor took me totally by surprise when he proposed. I had just woken up from a nap on a lazy Sunday and he asked me if I wanted to grab ice cream and go for a walk at a park he had found by the water. We ate ice cream cones and walked through East Boston before reaching a tiny park with a view of the city over the harbor. There was no one else in sight. He asked me to turn and face the water, so he could take a picture of me. As I rattled on and on about lobster traps, he got down on one knee. When I finally turned around, he asked me to marry him and I said “yes!”
About the Dress
Kleinfeld Consultant:
Hope
I knew my dress was the one the moment I saw it hanging in the Kleinfeld showroom. It is style NF035 by Nicole + Felicia.
There was a Nicole + Felicia Trunk Show the weekend of my appointment, and I loved how their designs combine classic silhouettes with dramatic florals and embellishments. I tried on a few gowns before I had to stop my consultant and say, “I need to try that one!” I loved it immediately.
I had such a positive experience at Kleinfeld. From the second I walked through the door, I felt cared for and prioritized by the entire team. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I am so grateful!
About the Wedding
Married:
October 13, 2024 //
Location:
Bar Harbor, Maine //
Venue:
The Bar Harbor Club
Conor and I got married in Bar Harbor, Maine during a late afternoon ceremony by the water. The fall foliage was peaking, it was chilly but not too cold, and everything was perfect. It was a small, intimate, black-tie affair with 80 guests. With black and white as our color palette, the day exuded timeless elegance. We filled the venue with flowers and had many thoughtful details including Christmas ornament favors, newspaper programs, and amazing food!
