Brian’s plan for our proposal was decided on, planned and executed in three days and what a whirlwind those three days were. Knowing we had plans for my 25th birthday to go wine tasting on that Friday, Brian thought that after 7 years of being together it was probably time to take things to the next step in our relationship. That Wednesday he called my parents and Thursday he was off to buy the ring. On Friday we drove to Newport, RI to a vineyard I’ve always wanted to go to. We tasted a handful of wines and each chose a glass of pinot grigio to walk the grounds with. While walking the rows of grapes, Brian stopped me and got down on one knee and proposed!

Planning a wedding in a year is tough as it is, add COVID19 and things get a lot harder. After a few bumps in the road, cutting our guest list in half and changing our wedding venue and date three weeks before, we celebrated our wedding on one of the most beautiful days in September. Our ceremony was held next to a river in the woods and our reception was under a gorgeous tent next to a renovated barn. While the plan did a complete 180, it ended up being 100 times better than anticipated. Everything happens for a reason!
