Kerry and Connor have been going away on a trip together each December since they met. In 2022, Connor wanted to plan the trip – something he typically never does. Kerry knew nothing about the trip aside from what to pack – things for the sun! Turns out, Connor booked an incredible stay at The Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas. After a full first day at the beach, Connor told Kerry he wanted to stop at a local beach on the way to their dinner reservation. He said that it apparently had the greatest sunsets. They arrived at the beach right at golden hour where Connor got down on one knee and proposed. It was a magical moment and a vacation to remember forever.
About the Dress
Kleinfeld Consultant:
Chloe
Kerry had been to a few smaller bridal shops in NYC before booking her appointment at Kleinfeld. She never had a vision of what she wanted in a wedding dress, so most of the dresses she tried on until that point could have been contenders. She went to Kleinfeld with her mom, her best friend, and her future mother-in-law, excited to spend a couple hours having fun and thinking maybe she would find a dress to add to the contender list. Chloe, her bridal stylist, brought four dresses into the fitting room and Kerry was immediately drawn to Anna Campbell’s Milano gown. It was beaded, beautiful, and unlike any of the gowns she had tried on. She immediately knew this was her dress and the reaction from her group solidified it. She didn’t want to take it off! She continued to try on dresses since she had booked the appointment, but nothing compared. She tried it on again at the very end of the appointment and was sold. She said “yes!” to the very first Kleinfeld dress she tried on!
About the Wedding
Location:
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania //
Venue:
Union Trust (Finley Catering)
Kerry and Connor got married in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in a stunning venue that first opened in 1888 as a bank. With tall, stunning ceilings and white stone walls with a grand staircase to match, it was the perfect setting to complement the elegance and uniqueness of the gown. With 130 of their closest friends and family, Kerry and Connor said “I do” on June 8, 2024, celebrating through the night, singing and dancing along with an incredible band, and devouring delicious meals followed by a vintage-style cake and a viennese dessert station.
