Kleinfeld Love Stories

Engaged:

David and I were on a family vacation in Ireland. We spent about two weeks touring the country and visited some of the most beautiful places! David is a huge Game of Thrones fan so prior to our trip I had booked a Game of Thrones Tour for us on our last day in Ireland. The tour took us to places where they filmed the show and even had the actual dogs they used. When we got to Ireland I told David about this and he was super stoked!!

The day of the tour, David won a trivia game which made him the King in the North of the tour! He also had spoken privately with the guide and told her he was going to propose. So during the tour, as we were all dressed up in cloaks, David got down on one knee and proposed, with the help of the dogs who played the direwolves in the show! If you’re a fan of the show you’ll appreciate it, if you’re not then you will just think we are major nerds.

I had always wanted to go to Kleinfelds for my dress, so about a month after the proposal I made an appointment. I had an amazing consultant, Paula, who helped me find my perfect dress. I knew what I wanted in terms of style and Paula turned my vision into a reality! I went with a Pnina Tornai!

David and I said “I do” at  the beautiful de Seversky Mansion on Long Island. Our ceremony was outside under a beautiful Linden Tree, which was all decorated with hanging lanterns and florals.

Our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in multiple rooms of the mansion and then a formal sit down dinner in the grand ballrooom. After dinner we danced the night away in the garden room.
