Engaged:

Christian and I went to Aruba with my parents for a trip. When we were there my mom took him to our jeweler there, Noble Jewelers. He was just as surprised to get my ring there on this trip as I was. He asked my parents and brothers if he could propose in the trip. One night before dinner, he brought me down by the ocean during sunset with my parents and proposed to me. It was the perfect engagement on my favorite island with my parents. I couldn’t have asked for anything better!

My dress was a custom Pnina Tornai dress. My mom had it picked out before I even arrived for my appointment. It was absolutely perfect and everything I wanted. It sparkled perfectly when the sun hit it and Pnina and Kleinfeld added in a corset to the dress for me and made the necklines a little lower for me too. It was absolutely stunning. I got a matching veil that was cathedral length and paired perfectly with my dress.

Our wedding was in Aruba at the Marriott. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve watched so many weddings take place and imagined mine there. I never thought my husband would let my dream come true. It was on the beach during sunset with the palm trees all around. We had my brothers as our officiants to make it even more special. We were so blessed that so many people flew out there and got to experience Aruba with us. It became a full circle moment of being there as a child for so many years, getting engaged there, and then getting married there.
