Matt took me on a hike in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We got to an overlook and asked someone to take our picture. We started to back up further towards the edge of the cliff. He hesitated, and I asked him if he was scared. He looked at me and dropped to one knee and said, “scared of what, spending the rest of my life with you?” I naturally said yes, and after almost four years of dating and being in graduate school together, we were officially engaged!
About the Dress
Kleinfeld Consultant:
Lisa Fuhrman
I chose a Tony Ward A-line dress during a trunk show. Tony actually asked me if I was saying yes to the dress. I tried on only 3 dresses before saying yes. I knew right away it was the one for me. I chose to add off the shoulder sleeves and a cathedral length veil that matched the embroidered appliqué on the dress.
About the Wedding
Married:
October 6, 2018 //
Location:
Moultonborough, NH //
Venue:
Castle in the Clouds
We got married in the Fall at a castle in New Hampshire. It was a wedding fit for a queen. We had our first look at a waterfall. I wore a crown from Epona Valley, and road up the mountain in horse and carriage with my dad. The venue overlooks the exact mountains where we got engaged and some beautiful lakes too. It was a Jewish wedding with a chuppah, glass smashing, and some honorary white orchids floating in the fountain for my mom who passed away in 2013. Our miniature long haired dachshunds were our “ring bearer” and “flower girl”.
