Kleinfeld Love Stories

Joseph and I met in college and began dating shortly after graduating.  Each year around Christmas time I would want to visit a local botanical garden in our area that has a beautiful Christmas light display.  Each year Christmas would come and go and we would be too busy to go see the lights.  After 9 years together Joseph took me to Longwood Gardens to see the Christmas light display.  We had to wait two hours to get in, but it was worth the wait.  We walked around a bit outside and observed some of the beautiful light displays.  Then we went into the conservatory and asked someone to take our picture in front of a beautiful Christmas tree.  It was that moment that Joseph got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

Once we decided we were having a winter wedding I knew I wanted a ball gown.  We went to two bridal salons near where live and found absolutely nothing that interested me.  Joseph and I made the two hour drive to Kleinfeld together, just the two of us.  I tried on dress after dress and finally our consultant Joel brought in the one.  The moment Joseph saw the dress on the hanger, he said that’s the one.  And the moment I put that dress on he simply said “wow.”  The Anne Barge Snowball gown was the perfect blend of elegance and fun and as the name suggests it was perfect for the winter.  The high-low allowed me to show off some amazing Badgley Mischka shoes that I also found at Kleinfled.

Joseph and I planned every detail of our wedding together.  We wanted to have an elegant classy evening that was also full of fun, dancing, drinks, and delicious food.  The Hotel du Pont was the perfect venue to achieve all of this.  Our guests raved about the food we served throughout the evening, from the cocktail hors devours to the flaming flambe dessert.  We put a lot of thought into our music selection to make sure guests were up on their feet the entire night and Rhythmix Entertainment did not disappoint.  They provided a violinist and pianist for the ceremony and cocktail hour music, then they really got the party going at the reception with a DJ, MC, saxophonist, and percussionist.  We received so many compliments on the music and how much fun everyone had, it was truly a night to remember.  We put a lot of time and effort into making sure it was a spectacular night, but it was all worth it.
