For more than 70 years, thousands of brides have traveled to Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City to find their wedding day looks. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’ll feel the magic of Kleinfeld. Not only does Kleinfeld have 30,000 square feet filled with the largest selection of wedding dresses in the world, it also has the greatest professional staff of over 200 employees who are dedicated to finding and perfecting your bridal look.
We are ecstatic about the revival of our all-time favorite, feel-good show (we’re totally not biased) Say Yes to the Dress.
Before the 23rd season’s premiere this Saturday, April 5th on TLC, we wanted to take a stroll down memory lane. From the most iconic say “yes!” moments to a few familiar faces, we’re here to reminisce and remind you of all that the binge-worthy show (and Kleinfeld!) has to offer.
Of course, what makes the show so great are the people on it. From supportive entourages to our incredible brides and the remarkable Kleinfeld team, they’re the best of Say Yes to the Dress.
Here’s a few faces you may recognize:
Randy
You know him and you love him! Our beloved bridal legend, Randy Fenoli, is sure to make plenty of appearances in the upcoming episodes with more “Hello Beautiful”s than you can count.
While he no longer works at Kleinfeld on a regular basis, you can certainly find him fluffing brides’ trains, helping our team carry dresses, and providing pep talks in Kleinfeld’s lobby at least a few times a year! Plus, any time we’re hosting a Randy Fenoli Trunk Show, brides have the chance to not only meet him, but try on the newest of his very own breathtaking bridal collection.
Dorothy
An integral part of the Kleinfeld team for more than three decades, our fabulous and talented Director of Merchandising, Dorothy Silver, is a face you may recognize. This season, she experiences wedding dress shopping for herself as a first-time bride!
Krissy
Another smiling face you’ll see on screen? Our Krissy Ross! Equally supportive and bubbly as she is beautiful, Krissy has been a Kleinfeld bridal stylist and featured on the show for several years. With a focus on complete styling from head to toe and her unmatched determination to find the perfect dress, she’s an expert in all things bridal.
Lisa
Assisting and styling English, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, and even Spanish-speaking brides from all across the globe, Lisa Fuhrman is a senior bridal stylist you’re sure to recognize. In fact, she loves Say Yes to the Dress as much as all of us! She originally applied for a position at Kleinfeld after binge-watching several episodes and deciding she wanted a career change.
Mara
The woman we owe it all to! Our owner, Mara Urshel, has an extensive background in luxury retail making her one of the best known and highly respected executives in the retail apparel industry. After her 20-year tenure with Saks Fifth Avenue, she and co-owners, Ronnie Rothstein and Wayne Rogers, purchased Kleinfeld in 1999. Just eight years later, Say Yes to the Dress was born.
Lucy
If you’ve found Mara or Ronnie, you’ve likely found their beloved dog, Lucy, trailing close behind. Keep an eye out! Lucy has made her appearance on Say Yes to the Dress a few times too.
