Kleinfeld’s iconic, dome-shaped awnings, expansive glass doors, and award-winning window displays have greeted thousands of brides and their loved ones for decades. Instantly recognizable and highly photographed, our Manhattan storefront has become a symbol of a true bridal rite of passage and a cornerstone of Kleinfeld’s history.
After relocating from a small bridal shop in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn to our current 35,000-square-foot luxury showroom in 2005, the move helped spark a new era for the bridal industry in Manhattan. Just one year later, Say Yes to the Dress premiered on TLC, forever changing the bridal landscape. Since then, Kleinfeld has evolved into a household name and a leading force in the industry.

As one of the most visible representations of Kleinfeld’s history, success, and influence, we sat down with Jacques Vigneault, Kleinfeld’s Creative Director since 2004. Jacques is the visionary behind the brand’s iconic window displays, capturing the attention of brides, industry professionals, and passersby alike.

Jacques’ foundation in fine arts set the stage for his career in design. After completing his education, he pursued multiple roles within the creative field before joining Kleinfeld in 2004 as a space designer. He was quickly promoted to Creative Director, overseeing all visual aspects of the showroom.
For decades, Jacques has shaped the visual experience at Kleinfeld, balancing beauty with functionality. From the window displays and floral installations to seating layouts, lobby design, and overall showroom flow, his work enhances both the atmosphere and the client experience.

When asked which accomplishment he is most proud of, Jacques simply said, “keeping the brand visually fresh.” He noted that Kleinfeld’s displays have often been imitated, a sign of their impact and influence.
When discussing his approach, Jacques emphasized that his focus is always on elevating the brand. His goal is not only to create visually compelling designs, but to continuously push the brand forward through thoughtful, innovative execution.
