Ryan proposed at sunset on Ho’okipa Beach in Maui, Hawaii which is our favorite place to escape to. Maui holds so many special memories for us and now it’s where our forever began. After the proposal, we celebrated with dinner at Mama’s Fish House which is an iconic Maui experience. We soaked in every moment of our engagement getaway before heading home to start planning the next chapter – our wedding!

I walked into my appointment thinking I’d leave with a classic satin A-line gown, but everything changed the moment I slipped into a fit-and-flare silhouette I hadn’t even considered. Downtown Detroit has been the backdrop to so much of our love story, so it only felt fitting to begin our next chapter in the city that means the world to us. The moment we stepped into the Shinola Hotel, we knew it was where our forever would begin. We exchanged vows at the stunning Basilica of St. Anne de Detroit on the 21st night of September 2024 – a date chosen with love and intention. Our day was a reflection of timeless romance wrapped in champagne and black tones, soft blush, and white florals. With hearts full, we danced beneath the city lights, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
