On June 24th, 2023, Alex proposed to me in Maui during what I thought was a simple getaway for my birthday. Little did I know that this trip would include the most unforgettable moment of my life.

On the way to dinner, Alex casually veered off the road to a secluded beach claiming he wanted to “scope it out for surfing” for the following day. I went along with it until I spotted the rose petals scattered on the sand and the intimate collection of photos laid out in front of me. I quickly realized the photos were a timeline of our relationship with each photo capturing a moment from our journey together.

As we walked through our shared memories, Alex led me to the center of it all, where he got down on one knee. I said the most obvious, most joyous answer of my life—”yes!”

But just when I thought the moment couldn’t possibly get any more magical, my best friend, Olivia, and her husband emerged from the trees surprising me with a whirlwind hug that sent us both tumbling into the sand. Olivia, my matron of honor, was there to share in the joy and the four of us celebrated the proposal of my dreams as we sat down for dinner. With the beauty of a Hawaiian sunset unfolding before us, we laughed, reminisced, and marveled at how Alex had orchestrated the perfect proposal—a story we would cherish forever.

First and foremost, I am so grateful to Pnina and everyone at Kleinfeld for creating the most incredible dress experience I could have ever dreamed of. I went into dress shopping unsure if I’d have that moment every girl hopes for—saying “yes” to her dream dress without hesitation. With expectations low and hopes high, my amazing dress consultant, Mollie, pulled a high-neck, long-sleeve, lace gown by Pnina Tornai for me to try on. From the moment she zipped it up, I never wanted to take it off. I knew it was the one.

A few months later, I traveled back to NYC from Seattle and I officially said “yes” to the dress. Pnina happened to be at Kleinfeld that day and I had the honor of meeting her. It was truly a “pinch me” moment that I’ll never forget.

Fast forward to our wedding day, and I can honestly say I have never felt more beautiful, confident, and myself in my entire life. The dress was everything I dreamed of and more. It was perfect in every single way.

Our wedding day was beautiful and full of so much love. We are so grateful and will remember every detail of our big day forever.
