Alon Livné

Born in Tel Aviv to Jewish parents with an Egyptian background, Alon Livné knew from an early age that he wanted to become a fashion designer. The only child of a hairdresser mother and businessman father, he began creating at just 11 years old, illustrating his own children’s book and later, at 13, cutting and sewing garments from his mother’s and grandmother’s old tablecloths.
After studying art and sculpting at various art-focused high schools, Livné attended the renowned Shankar College of Art and Design, where he studied Fashion Design and mastered sewing and pattern making by age 17. His bridal and couture designs are inspired by nature and art, blending a modern, futuristic edge with a classic gothic sensibility. The result is a dramatic, sculptural aesthetic that plays with contrast—soft and feminine yet powerful and provocative—creating unforgettable silhouettes for the fashion-forward bride.
Known for his instantly recognizable work, Livné combines unique fabrics with couture sewing techniques and modern technologies such as laser-cutting and 3D printing. His designs have attracted celebrities including Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Naomi Campbell, and Miley Cyrus, and have been featured by Vogue, WWD, Elle, V-Magazine, Nylon, NEO2, and Harper’s Bazaar.
