Ellen Hunter

Ellen Hunter graduated from the University of Alabama in 2003 with a degree in apparel design, where she discovered her true passion for creating jewelry and headpieces. That path led her to the London College of Fashion in 2004 for a summer intensive in wire wrapping and beadwork, and later back to her hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, where she worked for a local headpiece designer and honed her craft in hand painting, baking ceramic flowers, and handcrafting ornate jewelry. In 2007, Ellen moved to Manhattan to join Nicole Miller as a bridal specialist, where she developed a deep appreciation for helping each customer create a look that feels personal, meaningful, and beautiful.
Based in Manhattan, Ellen Hunter NYC is known for its unique and eclectic collection of combs, headbands, and flexible wreaths designed with a one-of-a-kind bridal aesthetic. Her pieces reflect a thoughtful balance of artistry, individuality, and elegance, making them a beautiful choice for brides seeking distinctive wedding accessories. Ellen’s collections are carried by prestigious retailers nationwide, including Henri Bendel in Manhattan, and have been featured in Town & Country Weddings and In Style Weddings. She also created all of the headpieces for the LUCA LUCA Spring 2012 runway show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
