Jane Hill

Jane Hill has been a leading figure in the Australian bridal industry, known for beautiful, distinctive gowns that have captivated brides in Australia and around the world. Celebrated for her personalised, individual service, Jane Hill bridal designs cater to a wide spectrum of aesthetics, from classic and timeless to modern and fashion-forward, always with an elegant, couture-inspired sensibility.
After completing her formal fashion design training, Jane moved to Adelaide to work as a pattern maker, where her interest in couture began to flourish. By the late 1980s, she was making wedding dresses from home, and in 1990 she returned to Melbourne to open her first bridal shop on Glenferrie Road, building the respected name that would come to define her signature approach to bridalwear.
In 1995, Jane expanded to High St, Armadale, helping shape the bridal precinct still known today. Inspired by the Paris fashion houses, she later created a more intimate boutique experience focused on custom gowns and exclusivity. Though Jane passed away in 2013, her legacy continues through the Jane Hill team, including her two daughters, who carry forward her vision, passion, and commitment to gowns of the highest standard.
