Nadia Manjarrez

Nadia Manjarrez was born and raised in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, where her love of fashion began at an early age. As one of four children, she learned to sew from her mother at just six years old, a childhood lesson that sparked a lifelong passion for design. What began as making doll clothes soon evolved into a clear creative path, leading her to earn a degree in Fashion and Textile Design from the University of Monterrey.
After moving to New York in 2011 for an internship with couture designer Bibhu Mohapatra, Nadia built her expertise at leading luxury eveningwear houses including Badgley Mischka, Marchesa, Cushnie et Ochs, and David Meister. In 2017, she helped develop Flor et.al, a non-traditional eveningwear brand, gaining the technical and production knowledge that would later shape Nadia Manjarrez Bridal. Her bridal aesthetic is rooted in versatility, modularity, and customization—gowns designed to transition beautifully from ceremony to reception with ease and elegance.
In 2020, Nadia returned to Mexico and, while between jobs, began creating wedding gowns for friends from her parents’ basement. During the pandemic, she shifted to sewing and donating masks to local hospitals, eventually building a business that supported local female sewers. Today, as founder and CEO of Nadia Manjarrez Studio Bridal, she creates modern Mexican bridal gowns while exclusively employing Mexican female heads of households, bringing together craftsmanship, purpose, and refined bridal design.
