Viola Chan is a distinguished bridal and eveningwear designer and executive with more than 35 years of international experience in the fashion industry. Originally from Hong Kong, her early exposure to the city’s entertainment and fashion world, influenced by her grandfather’s distinguished career, sparked a lifelong passion for high fashion and refined aesthetics. She later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, as well as an MBA in Innovative Design Management, combining creative vision with strong business and strategic leadership. Over the course of her career, Viola has built a global reputation for design innovation, brand development, and creative leadership. Her work has reached clients across the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa, Canada, Turkey, Mexico, Hong Kong, China, and South America, establishing her as a recognized authority in global bridal fashion. She has led product development and design for renowned brands including Zac Posen True Collection, Vera Wang White Collection, Jenny Packham Wonder Collection, and Priscilla of Boston, helping elevate brand recognition and set new standards of excellence in the U.S. bridal market. In 2010, Viola was appointed Design Director of Oleg Cassini International by Mrs. Marian Cassini, marking a major milestone in her career. In her leadership roles, she has overseen global product development and design operations, working closely with manufacturing teams across India, China, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, South Africa, Turkey, and Israel. Her ability to balance creativity with operational excellence has ensured consistent quality,innovation, and craftsmanship on an international scale.

Today, Viola serves as Executive Director and Group Creative Director at The Bridge Holding Limited, where she leads the vision and strategic direction for internationally recognized bridal and eveningwear brands including Oleg Cassini, Viola Chan, Viola Chan Premium, Viola Chan Couture, and VC by Viola Chan. In 2025, she was also appointed Design Director of Couture at David’s Bridal, where she leads creative strategy for distinguished labels such as Bride Vera Wang, Oleg Cassini, Melissa Sweet, and Galina Signature. Extending her design vision beyond apparel, Viola has also introduced a bespoke fine jewelry collection to complement her bridal and eveningwear lines. She is certified by the Gemological Institute of America in Diamonds and Colored Stones, underscoring her commitment to quality, artistry, and the highest industry standards.
