How to Visit Kleinfeld As a Fan
Not a bride but want to visit Kleinfeld? We’ve rounded up our top tips on how to experience everything you can as a fan. Here’s how to make the most of your visit.
Visit During the Week
Weekends at Kleinfeld are the busiest, so we recommend stopping by during the week. While only brides with appointments can enter the main salon, visitors are sometimes able to stand in the lobby and catch a glimpse of the action from the grand archway.
You may even get to watch a bride say “yes” to her dream dress. Don’t forget to take a photo in front of the Kleinfeld sign in the lobby for a true Kleinfeld moment. Please note that the store is closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Take Photos Outside
Kleinfeld is known not only for its gowns but also for its award-winning window displays. Be sure to take photos under the iconic grey awnings with the windows as your backdrop. The displays change often, so each visit offers something new.
Explore the Neighborhood
Once you’ve finished your visit, there’s plenty more to see nearby. The Flatiron Building is just a short walk away and makes for a great photo opportunity.
For food, Chelsea Market and the Union Square Greenmarket are popular options. If you’re looking for a scenic walk, try the High Line or head toward the Empire State Building. And for shopping, Fifth Avenue offers endless options just a short distance away.
Browse Accessories
No appointment is needed to shop accessories. Head downstairs to explore a wide selection of jewelry, headpieces, veils, and shoes.
This area also connects to the alterations department, so you may even catch a glimpse of a bride being fitted in her gown.
Planning a trip to Kleinfeld is more than just a visit—it’s an experience. Whether you’re shopping or simply taking it all in, there’s plenty to see, do, and enjoy.
