Kleinfeld Love Stories: Annarose & Nicholas

Nick and I have been together since high school, so our proposal felt like the beginning of a new chapter in a love story that had already grown with us for so many years. While we were on vacation in Punta Cana, he proposed on the beach at sunset. It was romantic, intimate, and completely perfect. Getting to say yes to my best friend in such a beautiful place is a moment I will never forget.

My dress was a Pnina Tornai gown that I found during one of her trunk shows at Kleinfeld. I was lucky enough to meet Pnina that day, and she was just as warm, encouraging, and amazing as I had hoped she would be. The gown already felt so special, but adding a bow to the back made it feel completely my own. It was romantic, dramatic, and playful, and I truly felt like the best version of myself when I wore it.

Our wedding was whimsical, colorful, and filled with so much personality. We celebrated at Bear Brook Valley surrounded by pastel wildflowers, butterflies, light blue details, and all of our favorite people. The day felt elegant without being too serious, and we wanted every part of it to feel joyful, welcoming, and fun. We were married just before our ten-year anniversary, which made the celebration even more meaningful. After growing up together, earning degrees, building a home, and experiencing so many seasons of life side by side, finally becoming Mr. and Mrs. Lam felt like the most beautiful full-circle moment.
