About the Proposal:

Steven and I met at Zilker Park in Austin. I was out on the water rowing almost every week, and he was always nearby, either reading or out for a walk. One day I finally worked up the courage to ask him about the book he was reading, as a fellow book lover myself. From that conversation on, there was no turning back.
On the summer solstice in June 2025, Steven and I headed to Zilker for what I thought was just another one of our usual visits. In the same field where we first met, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
About the Dress:

I walked into Kleinfeld with a clear idea of what I wanted. However, my consultant, Brandi, guided me to Pnina Tornai's Love collection, and I'm so glad she did. The moment I put the dress on, I lit up inside, and when I stepped out, my family lit up too. The structured boning and detailing through the midsection, hand-sewn flowers, flowing train, and the bow at the back all came together perfectly. I knew I wanted a long veil, and Pnina's cathedral-length veil with hand-sewn flowers was the perfect match. My Maria Elena headpiece was the finishing touch that pulled the whole look together. Thanks to Brandi, I unexpectedly got to meet Pnina herself that day, and that's when I said 'yes!' to my dress.

On October 10, 2026, we married at The Arlo in Austin, the perfect venue for the light, clean, and airy feeling that we wanted throughout the day. Surrounded by our family and friends, we started our next chapter, and we can't wait to keep writing our love story together.
