As for silk materials specifically, we recommend keeping the fabric out of direct sunlight for an extended period of time, avoiding products such as hairspray or perfume while wearing the gown, as well as avoiding any contact with water or residue. Prior to wearing your silk wedding dress, we recommend having the gown professionally steamed and then hung to avoid wrinkling.
