What to Expect During Your Bridal Appointment
Saying “yes!” in the Kleinfeld showroom has become a rite of passage for generations of brides. We are honored to create these irreplaceable memories, and now your moment is finally here! Our dedicated team has curated an outline to prepare you and put you at ease. We want to ensure you have everything you need in to make the most out of your Kleinfeld experience.
What to Bring
Your comfort and confidence are our priority. You’re welcome to bring anything that helps you feel your best, from a strapless bra to heels, though undergarments are required for sanitary purposes and in accordance with New York state law.
Before your appointment, we recommend browsing Kleinfeld’s online collection to get familiar with our designers, styles, and price points. You can also explore Instagram, Pinterest, or magazines for inspiration as you begin to shape your vision.
Just as important is who you bring with you. We welcome up to three guests who will support and celebrate you throughout your experience. We recommend using the restroom and finishing any non-clear beverages beforehand, as only clear liquids are permitted in the showroom to maintain the cleanliness of our space.
Meet Your Bridal Stylist
Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes before your appointment.
When you enter our showroom, our reception team will greet you and your guests and invite you to relax in the lobby until you’re paired with one of our expert bridal stylists, who will guide you through the experience and help you find the dress of your dreams. Meet our amazing team!
You will be paired with one of our expert bridal stylists, who will get to know you, your wedding, and your dress goals. From your partner and venue to your personal style, we are here to listen. We encourage you to share your budget, any specific gowns you’d like to try, and any questions you may have so we can help you find the dress of your dreams.
Your Dressing Room & Viewing Area
Our showroom features a variety of spaces to view gowns. Some appointments take place in private rooms, while others are in our main showroom. Unless you have booked a VIP appointment, your viewing area will be assigned upon arrival. Many of our pedestals are shared, so you may experience and celebrate “yes!” moments alongside other brides and their guests. While we cannot guarantee a specific space, please let your stylist know if you have a preference—we will do our best to accommodate. No matter where you are seated, you will receive the full Kleinfeld experience.
Once your guests are settled in a viewing area with a mirror and pedestal, your stylist will escort you to a private dressing room. We kindly ask that guests remain in their assigned area throughout the appointment to ensure a smooth flow throughout the showroom.
Try On
Your stylist will begin by selecting 3–5 gowns to help understand your vision. You’ll present each to your guests, and there’s no set limit on how many dresses you can try—we’ll make the most of your appointment time to find the one.
Our sample sizes vary, but your stylist is expertly trained to clip and fit each gown so you can envision the perfect look, regardless of size.
Please be mindful of your scheduled appointment time, whether it’s 90 minutes or a 3-hour VIP experience. Your stylist will keep things on track so you can maximize your time.
That said, the appointment is entirely yours. If you’d prefer not to show a gown or want to browse the showroom with your stylist, just let us know—we’ll tailor the experience to you.

Accessorize
An accessories stylist will help complete your bridal look with a curated selection of veils, jewelry, headpieces, belts, and more—tailored to your gown and vision.
If you’re unable to finalize your look during your initial appointment, no problem. We will welcome to book a dedicated accessories appointment to work one-on-one with a stylist and complete your look.

Saying “yes!” at Kleinfeld is a truly special moment. Once we’ve curated your bridal look, you’ll be celebrated by your loved ones and our team.
Our goal is to match you with the dress that feels like forever. We aim to make that moment seamless, but we understand it’s a big decision. If you need more time, we’re happy to schedule another appointment so you can continue exploring.
Once you’ve found your gown, your stylist and a Kleinfeld bridal director will take your measurements and place your order.
Deposit
Your personal bridal stylist will lead you to our financial services team who will finalize your payment.
Please note that a 65% deposit is due at the time of purchase. At this time, you will be provided with information regarding your gown’s delivery, pick-up, shipping, and alterations. While all of this information will be outlined, you will not be required to solidify any of those details at the time of placing your order.
